Can we get an update on the standings and an explanation of how they will contribute to the playoffs?

Standings have been updated. One week of regular season remains. Since we only have 5 teams per region, only one team from each region will not advance to the playoffs.

Ars from Central Region and [aDx] from Eastern Region statistically cannot make the playoffs.

During Playoffs, Central Region Teams will face off:

    1 vs 4
    2 vs 3

During Playoffs Eastern Region Teams will meet:

    1 vs 4
    2 vs 3

Though subject to change... the current projection is:

    Regional Semi-Finals (Week 1 Playoffs)

    CENTRAL

    SwagOD VS SAO
    Finesse VS -=BwA=-

    EASTERN

    -RbL- VS HoF
    [Strict-Pro] VS [OBC]

Perhaps in the future the playoffs are seeded based on the overal finishing numbers? Since every team played each other in the regular the season the divisions didn't really factor into anything. Given that and how the standings look between the two divisions it seems to make more sense to just use overall seedings for playoffs. No reason to change anything for this season, just a suggestion for the future seasons.

Thanks for the suggestion Riggs. Since we only had 10 teams this season, we made a slight match-up change, allowing each team an opportunity to face each other in the regular season. In the past, teams in other regions may have never met in a match. Now, a team may have the opportunity to say they played the Champions, maybe even beat them in regular season. The Regions will be more useful when we have more teams. Hopefully, this will be soon. If all goes according to plan, we will have dozens of teams playing in a new Open Division soon.
